Travelling in a stranger's land

I took half a day travelling to the other end of the island, to places which i was familiar, once familiar, and not so familiar with.

It may be an idiosyncrasy in all of us that we always yearn to venture out of singapore and step foot on foreign lands. But paradoxically, somewhere in this tiny island embodies fascinating hideaways awaiting for us to unravel, just like a rabbit hole. So while we may be grumbling about the shortage of travelling funds or the peak travelling periods, why don't just hop onto a bus (i think buses are more 'tourist friendly') and begin a travelling trip around the island ?

same sentiment! love the feeling of listening to songs while watching the world passes by :)
